ESHRE Grant for research in reproductive medicine (up to 250 000 Euro)
ESHRE Research Grants are designed to support scientists and clinicians (investigators) by funding proposals in basic and clinical research in the field of reproductive medicine.
ESHRE will provide appropriate and adequate support to excellent scientists and/or clinicians, whatever their nationality, with the only restriction of them being an ESHRE member. Projects will be selected for funding based on scientific excellence, originality and feasibility. The applicant submitting the proposal will be the Coordinator of the project and s/he will be the main contact person for ESHRE.
EOIs should be submitted before 1 April 2024 at 17h CEST.
OREF/ASES Rockwood Clinical Shoulder Research Grant (up to $50,000)
Provides funding for new investigators to conducting research in the area of shoulder care.
Either the PI or co-PI must be a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons. The principal investigator (PI) must be a new investigator. A new investigator is classified as an individual who has not received an R01 National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant or its equivalent (e.g., VA, DOD, NSF) in the role of PI. An orthopaedic surgeon principal investigator (PI) must be licensed to practice in the U. S. and be working in an institution in the U.S. A PhD may serve as the principal investigator (PI) and must hold a faculty appointment in an orthopaedic department at an institution in the U.S. A letter from the department chair confirming the appointment is required. Diabetes SA research funding (up to $300,000)
Through the generous support of our members, corporate partners and donors Diabetes SA has been able to support research into diabetes almost since our inception. This has allowed Diabetes SA to fund research towards prevention, detection, management and a cure for diabetes.
In 2024 Diabetes SA has increased it's commitment to funding outstanding research in Australia with the introduction of a new $100,000 research grant (two-year award) specifically for type 1 diabetes research, made possible through the generosity of the late Ms Sieglinde Hannelore Darsow or ‘Hanni’ as she is fondly remembered. Diabetes SA’s commitment to research funding will be $300,000 in the 2024 grant funding. Click here to apply

RESEARCH VISIT GRANT (up to £3,000)
The Society offers grants of up to £3,000 to support members who are planning a short (one- to three-month) research visit to another laboratory. This scheme supports innovative projects within established collaborations and the development of new collaborative initiatives.
Applications will be considered from members from these categories who are registered for a PhD or are PhD qualified and employed in a postdoctoral research position in a university, hospital or research institute worldwide. Full or Full Concessionary Members who are within five years of appointment to their first post as a lecturer in UK and Republic of Ireland are also eligible to apply. Click here to apply

MRA Next Steps Research Program (up to $250,000)
MRA is excited to announce a new funding opportunity called Next Steps, a separate and distinct grant mechanism from the MRA’s annual RFP call for applications. The intent of this funding strategy is to help advance translation of discoveries into the clinic by supporting: 1) needed preclinical resources and tools for the research community to identify and begin to develop new therapies and 2) infrastructure to analyze and build large datasets to identify better diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers leading to hypothesis-driven research proposals for submission to MRA and other funding agencies.
