Notice of Intent to Publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity for the Re-issue of PAR-21-339 - Limited Competition: NCATS Clinical and Translational Science Award (CTSA) Program Research Education Grants Programs (up to $100,000)
The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) intends to reissue the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) to solicit applications to provide support to recipients of Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) for creative educational activities with a primary focus on research experiences designed to ensure that the participants receive exposure to the scientific and operational principles underlying each step of the translational process so that they can apply these principles to clinical and translational science research areas such as:
1) pre-clinical research, 2) clinical research, 3) clinical implementation, and 4) public health.
This Notice is being provided to allow potential applicants sufficient time to develop meaningful collaborations and responsive projects.

This grant is intended to support the development of new tools, approaches and protocols that increase quality, innovation and technology development in rheumatic und musculoskeletal diseases (RMD) research. Research areas for which methods will be developed, may include all RMD research areas but should be focussed on laboratory research and associated data analysis. Successful applicants will define practical challenges and barriers to the conduct of RMD research and propose the development of a solution that can be tested within the pilot project and/or with subsequent extramural funding. ASAHP Awards & Grants (up to $33,000)
Goal: To support innovative research projects with the highest potential to produce new knowledge and paradigms towards success in interprofessional collaboration. Projects should involve at least two and preferably more health professions. The most competitive applications will be designed as scalable projects with potential outcomes which can be broadly applied and implemented by ASAHP member institutions.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE: The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a full-time faculty in an ASAHP member institution. Applicants may serve as PI on only one grant application. Only one application may be submitted per ASAHP Member Institution.
AWARD AMOUNT: We expect to fund 2-3 awards up to $30,000 per award
GRANT PERIOD: September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025
